Cheese!!!

I've been hamming it up a bunch for the camera lately. I'm trying out a series of smiles. See which one you like the best.

Merry Christmas, Everyone!

I'm having a blast with my first Christmas. Last night, Mom and Dad read me a story about Santa Claus, and I loved it so much I could hardly contain myself. See for yourself. . .

Best Book Ever.

SANTA!!!!

Yep, here's me and ole Kris Kringle himself yesterday. I sure am glad Santa likes hanging out at dad's office because I don't do the mall at Christmas time. It's for suckers. There are a bunch of pictures but only these few that don't include office equipment in the background. I'm proud to say there were no "Scared of Santa" nominees, although a case could be made for these first two.

November's Greatest Hits

It's been a while since I last posted, so here are some of my favorite pics from the last month or so to catch you up on my life. A lot has gone on. I've made some friends (see Cousin Margo and Betsy Ankar below), learned how to do laundry (I hate it.), had my first Thanksgiving, and discovered the joys of semi-nudity. I also got baptized, but I'll save that for another post. Enjoy.

Me and Margo. Her dad says she "sees dead people" . . . like I'm supposed to get the joke. She seems cool to me.

Me and Betsy, caught red-handed.

I see what they're doing. It won't work. I'll never do their laundry.

It's my first Thanksgiving, and I already know the routine just like Dad showed me. . .

1) Eat

2.) Partially undress

3.) Pass out
(Here's a classic example of someone not following this order and trying to do all three at once.)

Dad, get me outta here. There's tons of UT stuff here, oh, and this dead polar bear.

Sorry, I cracked myself up on that last one.

"He must work out."

I Been Baptized!!

I got baptized yesterday. It was awesome, even the dress. The water was really cold, but I didn't cry. Check out these pictures.

Awww, there are too many pictures. Here's a slideshow.

Dr. Mallard Says I'm Big-Boned UPDATE

I went to see Dr. Mallard a couple of weeks ago because I seemed sick. They weighed me, and I tipped the scales at 19 pounds, 9 ounces.

Nashville Sports! Nashville Sports!

We're back!! The Titans and the Preds may be mediocre, but they are finally winning some games. I can now wear my gear and not feel foolish.

Nice Going, (Baby) Einstein!

Whoops! My bad!

In baby-related news. . . It turns out that the Baby Einstein DVDs don't turn babies into cultured, well-rounded geniuses after all. Ya think?!

And no, that is not me dressed up like Einstein. It's some poor kid whose parents thought that making their baby look like Einstein would make him smarter.

Halloween

I was a lobster for my first Halloween (The picture above is not me, in case you were wondering). Check out the pictures of my awesome costume. I can't wait until next year when I can trick-or-treat. As cool as I look in this costume, I was out of it in 20 minutes.

Mom and Dad went to a Halloween party without me Saturday night. Mom went as Octo-Mom and Dad went as Balloon Boy. ( I think he looked more like a baked potato.)

Nini came in town to keep me. We played Pee-Pie! all night. It was crazy!!

My Best Friend is a Gypsy

This is me and Gypsy. She plays with me and protects me. She's really soft, and she doesn't mind that I pull her hair out in clumps.

She's not like other Gypsies (pictured below). She doesn't know witchcraft and she's not out to steal babies (luckily for me). When I first heard I was living with a Gypsy, I'll admit, I was a little nervous. . .

My other friend is Caicos, and I think he might be an actual gypsy.

Perdidon't

Last week we took our second trip to Perdido in two months, this time with Mom's family. We rode down with Da (official grandpa name pending). It was great to see my cousin Cayden, but everyone got sick, and it was too cold and windy to go down to the beach. Aunt Brooke and Cayden had a fever. Da got food poisoning after some bad oysters at The Crab Trap. He spent all night spitting up in a bucket. Mom & Dad got bushwhacked one night. They may not have been sick, but they looked it. Me, I had a good time with everyone, even though I never even made it to the beach. Hopefully we can do this again next year when it is warmer.

I love my cousin Cayden. We're going to be great friends. I don't know why Aunt Brooke put on this disguise. I knew it was her the whole time.

Ahhhh, vacation! This is the life. Finally, my own king size bed.

This was Cayden's first time to the beach. I'm not sure if he was impressed or not.

Da and Cayden working on their tans.

Here's me and Nini. She's the best! Sometimes she stays with me while Dad & Mom go act a fool. We have so much fun together.

I can't wait for my first Halloween. I don't want to give my costume away, but here's a hint:

Race for the Cure

This past weekend, me and Grace went to run in the Race for the Cure and celebrate our BB. A lot of other people were there dressed in pink, which Grace liked, I'm sure. It was as much fun as you can have in an office park.

We made some new friends, like Will Blair, Sophie Day Blackburn, and Mimi Steele, although I think there is something going on between Will and Mimi.

Mom didn't get the memo about wearing pink, so she covered me in this hideous orange UT blanket that someone made for me. It was a little embarassing, if I'm being honest.

GrandMamo enjoyed getting to see me and Grace, and we love getting to see her.

I got to test-drive my new Eskimo Smurf Suit. Don't be jealous.

Here is a picture of the family before the race started. Mom, Dad, AuntWalker, and I finished in just under 1 hour. It was a personal best for me. I'm sure I'll improve next year though. Dad said this was the 4th year we have done the Race, and we'll keep on doing it for years to come. I'm glad.

A Brief Foray Into "Solid Food"

Have Spoon, Want Food

A few weeks ago Mom started telling me she was going to start giving me solid food, so naturally I got excited. This is a big deal, and I couldn't make mind up what I wanted for my first meal. There are so many options out there . . . Steak, ribs, various German sausages, gamebird, lobster, pasta, ice cream, cookies, cake . . .you get the idea. The possibilities are endless. I don't even know where to begin.

Instead, I was given this:

To which my reaction, naturally, was this (a mix of confusion, disillusionment, and a noticeable feeling of betrayal):

Whoever said this gruel is "solid food" needs have their heads checked. No more for me, thank you.

No Mas!

Check Out the New Jungle Gym

I'm in heaven in this thing. My legs are too short to touch the ground, but Mom put a pillow underneath me. I love jumping until I pass out. See below.

First Titans Game at Uncle Cole's-eum

I got to watch my first Titans game ever last Thursday, and Dad got me this pretty slick Titans onesie. Unfortunately the Titans lost, but everyone seemed to have a good time. Me personally, I'm concerned about Chuck Cecil's refusal to blitz in the 4th quarter. But I'm just a baby, what do I know.
