Daycare: Let The Sickness Begin

Two days after we got back from Watercolor I started daycare at Hillwood Playcenter. Mom was nervous about it, and still is. She thinks there are going to be weird, freakish babies there (something like the one pictured below) that will make me sick . . . and she's right. I'm coming down with something . . . My nose is runny for the first time ever, and I'm covered in boogers. And look at that hair. . .

Please Stand By . . .

Dad broke his new laptop, so most of the pictures documenting my existence are gone. Good one, Dad. The blog should be back up and running soon.

The Perils of Infant Headwear

You be the judge . . .

Hiatus

Sorry I haven't posted in while. It's been since July, 13 (roughly 1/2 my life) since I last updated things. Mom & Dad lost the camera. I blame them. I am now 11 weeks old.Things that have happened since my last post:

  • I started laughing, a lot

  • I slept through the night. Not quite routine yet, but no fuke either

  • I moved into my crib in the nursery (There will be pictures.)

  • I began eating formula with my milk

  • I went to the beach. Loved it. (More on that later.)

Also, you may notice the new title photo above. I outgrew this old one:

Dr. Mallard Says I'm Just Big-Boned

I went to see Dr. Mallard last week. I weigh 11 pounds, 11 ounces.

Cayden said, "No! No! No! No!"

I got to hang out with my older cousin, Cayden, this weekend when NiNi and Aunt B came to town. He's pretty cool. He knows how to drive a car. He's 1 and a half.

Laughin'

I'm a month old today, and I'm just learning to laugh. Mom makes it easy because she's funny:

Dad's Gonna Write a Letter

Dad's face gets real red when he has to change batteries in all my stuff. He hates that nothing uses electricity, and everything requires tools to change the batteries. He screamed something about writing a letter to Fisher-Price. That and some other words I didn't understand.

Grand Mamo

I'm so lucky to have my Grand Mamo!! Mom calls her the Baby Whisperer.

Egg McMuffin

Dad said, "This smells like an Egg McMuffin."

Mom said, "MMMM, Egg McMuffins sound good!"

Aunts & Uncles (B,C,D, E, John, and Shane)

Someone needs to do a better job naming my aunts and uncles. This may help me learn the alphabet, but we might as well number them. Here they are (in alphabetical order):

Aunt B

Uncle C
Aunt D

Aunt E

Uncle John

Uncle Shane

Dads

Here's me & Dad with Uncle John & Grace, and Uncle Blake & Margo. Me and Dad look like we could swallow everyone else on the couch.

Me & Grace

I met my cousin, Grace, for the first time today. We were born 4 days apart. I thinks she's real sweet, but if she's going to keep sticking her tongue out at me, I'm telling.
